Author biography

Dr Murdoch Stephens founded the successful Double the Refugee Quota campaign in 2013. Since then he has worked as a researcher and policy expert for universities and not for profits. He is an author, publisher and Fulbright Scholar. His previous non-fiction includes the 2018 book Doing Our Bit: the campaign to double the refugee quota.

Ibrahim Omer came to New Zealand as a quota refugee in 2008, In 2020 he was elected as a Member of Parliament.
