A magnificent, large-format, beautifully photographed book by the author of Khumbu, which traverses the majestic peaks of Aotearoa/New Zealand.

The accompanying text describes these beautiful places in all their glory, as well as shining a light on the importance of preserving our natural environment in these challenging times.

The book is also a homage to a lifelong love of travel and of adventuring. Yet, alongside such a well-travelled life must come a sense of responsibility to give back to Nature in whatever ways we can, and to tread more lightly on the environment going forward.

The book is dedicated to tramper/author Shaun Barnett, who died in June 2024.
