This book is designed to provide physiological and theoretical knowledge that enables the nurse to advance their nursing clinical assessment skills and increase their understanding of patient care requirements and interventions used in practice. We recognise that many nurses have already well-developed knowledge and skills in head-to-toe physical assessment, psychosocial assessment and discharge planning.
