The Sound Soldiers Memorial: Stories of the Fallen gives an overview of New Zealands involvement in the two World Wars and provides an insight into the background of the Memorials construction. It tells the stories of the twenty-nine men commemorated, including personal details, military service and medals awarded, as well as newspaper articles, personal letters and photographs.
The loss of these men from this small community, and their brave sacrifice, will not be forgotten We will remember them.
