WalkerMaths: Next Steps is a write-on workbook designed to follow Numeracy Essentials in preparation for tackling the material required for the Level 1 Achievement Standards.

Number topics include factors, multiples and primes, powers and roots, rounding to significant figures, and standard form. A comprehensive Algebra section contains exercises designed to develop confidence in simplifying expressions, powers and roots, expanding and factorising, substitution, solving of equations and inequations, rearrangement, quadratics and graphs.
