This book covers the main topics from non-medical prescribing courses and modules that appear in the exam, including some pharmacology and calculations but also the legal, procedural and practical aspects of the prescribing role that are assessed on the course including: drug safety, consultation skills, adverse drug reactions, concordance, using the BNF and special care groups such as children, pregnant women and mental health clients. Each chapter will include different question types including: True or False, Multiple Choice, Fill in the Blank questions. Within each chapter, all the answers will be given and explained - so the book can be used as a ‘teach and test’ resource.
