Five years after our collaboration to install a MaraHupara playground, in a first of its kind, in an Auckland City Council park, https://landezine-award.com/mara-hupara-playground/ and with so much ongoing professional adoption & encouragement from architects, designers, educators & play advocates we have produced TeMara Hupara 2 which is packed with 60 cultural icons and their whakapapa & whakamana (huparaspecific games & astral associations). 132 pages with over 60 colour photographs full of ideas on creating masterful natural play spaces for imaginative fun, exercise, learning, contemplation & sanctuary WITHOUT a proliferation of steel, rubber or plastics.
