Bali Haque is a career educator who has led four secondary schools and worked at the NZQA as Deputy Chief Executive with responsibility for NCEA in particular. He has been the National President of the Secondary Principals Association of New Zealand, an Executive member of the Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA), a contributor to a variety of Ministry of Education advisory panels and a speaker at a range of professional development events for teachers and principals. He currently lives and works in New Plymouth as an educational consultant, speaker and writer.
