Simon Wyatt was raised in Glendene, West Auckland. After earning his Bachelor's degree at the University of Auckland, he commenced a 10-year career with the NZ Police, the last 6 years of which he spent as a detective in the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).In 2012, while recovering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a rare and potentially life-threatening autoimmune disorder, he started working on this book.Simon Wyatt is currently an investigator for the Serious Fraud Office (SFO); he is working on his second novel in his spare time.
