Stardust

A girl whose mum lives far away sends her a letter with a magic gift inside. But the true magic was inside the girl - all she had to do was believe. Stardust explores the emotions that come with having a parent in prison and not being able to see them on a regular basis. While the girl and her mum cannot see each other, they find a unique way to feel connected through the sky and stars, which creates a sense of safety and love that allows the girl to focus on positive memories she has of her mum. This book aims to give children hope, and the self-belief that they can achieve their goals and dreams despite the challenges they face.
